What readers are saying about QUITE THE PAIR:
“Beth Greenberg has captured my heart with this series ?. In ????? ??? ????, she once again combines steamy, sassy romance and the loyalty of friendship, all while peering into the Greek god’s lives like you’ve never seen them before. And I just adore Cupid. He is sweet, kind, and deserves to find his True Love, after getting his heart broken time and time again. But the gods are manipulative and egotistical, so who knows what will happen next.” –Susan Ballard, Goodreads
“Greenberg is excellent at two things – first, spinning a story with enough feels that we really care about her characters, and second, writing sex scenes. It is not easy to do this well (as a writer I am tempted to just hint and then dim the lights), but she manages to be both descriptive and yet not too intensely so. Plus she makes me laugh …
Highly recommended as a delightful read, light enough to avoid extra stress in these challenging times, funny enough for several bouts of the giggles, and with enough heart to challenge Ted Lasso.” –D.A. Brown, Goodreads
“What makes Quite the Pair really work is its focus on platonic love. That’s not to say that the love story isn’t on point, because it is, and it’s definitely a major focus. How could it not be? But what really pulled me in here is the idea of a different kind of love, and how we all have people (I hope) who are there for us no matter what, people who love us and root for us and help us find redemption. There’s a lot of kindness in these books and a lot of forgiveness, and it made me feel good while I was reading.”–Michelle H, Goodreads
“My favorite book in the series so far. I didn’t want to put it down!” –Shelley, ARC Reader
“How did this get so very profound and real? Again, you are really elevating this work with very human concepts. Ironic, it takes a god to do it!” –Maggie, ARC Reader
About Quite the Pair:
An epic bromance is put to the ultimate test.
One god is cursed, the other deemed worthy of Right Love by Aphrodite. Cupid and Pan, the oldest and best of friends, are caught in an impossible, all-consuming love neither can deny. Nor can they escape the terrible truth – there’s someone else in Tarra who’s meant for Pan.
Cupid’s third punishment, his quest to find Pan’s perfect match, will drag the God of Love through a treacherous maze of friendship, duty, and love.
Quite the Pair is book 3 of the Cupid’s Fall series.
Book 3 may be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading books 1 and 2 of the series first for maximum enjoyment.
Is Pan’s heart beating back? Here’s a sneak peek!
Excerpt from Chapter 1: RIDDLES
A fallen Grace, a former satyr, and a heartbroken god walk into a comedy club . . .
Why the hell couldn’t Pan stop thinking in riddles?
How many shots of tequila does it take to throw off Cupid’s heart radar?
No wonder Pan was punchy. Of all the places on earth for Cupid to declare his love for Pan, the gods had to pick some rank, beer-soaked corner of a dive bar comedy club with the stench of vomit billowing out every time the bathroom door opened?
“Just checking here,” Pan said carefully. “You did just say that your heart is vibrating for me?”
“Yes, that’s what I said.” Cupid was quickly losing patience—and he hadn’t started the evening with all that much to lose—but Pan couldn’t risk a misunderstanding here. Not with something this monumental.
“As in . . .?” Pan mimed pulling an arrow taut on its bow and releasing it straight at Cupid’s heart.
“Yes, Pan.”
Wow.
Okay, yes, now that Pan was really paying attention, the truth was staring him right in the face. Cupid had worn that same, tragically smitten expression when he’d first stumbled into Mia’s yoga studio and again when he’d knocked Ruthie off her feet at Versailles. This time, inexplicably but undeniably, Cupid’s boundless, desperate love was dead aimed at Pan.
“I’m ready!” Pan opened his arms wide and launched himself at Cupid before the gods could change their fickle minds. “Quick! Cross us!”
“I can’t,” came Cupid’s muffled reply…
